PORIGINAL GALLERY

The Poriginal Gallery, which is run by the city of Pori, was established in 1984. The Gallery is situated on the Southern bank of the river Kokemäenjoki in a former warehouse for salt. This beautiful two-storey building designed by the architect F.J.Lindström was built in 1885 in the Neo-Renaissance style. Together with the Pori Art Museum and the Satakunta Museum, the Poriginal Gallery is an integral part of the cultural blocks on the Southern riverbank. In addition to exhibitions, small evening occasions are also held in the Gallery. The total exhibition space is 235 m2. Every year approximately 16 exhibitions are held in the Gallery.
