		Natural Heritage centre Arkki Natural heritage centre Arkki presents wetlands nature in Satakunta, which is unique in Finland. You only need to travel about twenty kilometres to get from rocks to oases: from the barren islets of the outer archipelago to the wooded islands, meadows and shore groves of the land-rise coast, the reed areas of the river delta, groves along inland rapids, and to spacious bogs.
		Make surprising findings at a decaying wall of seaweed piled on the seashore by the tides, watch the ringed plover and the wagtail waddling among the rocks. Experience the mysterious atmosphere of early summer night at the river delta: the incessant concert of the nightingale and the warbler through the night. The cowslip and the iris glow in the first rays of the sun on the bank of the misty river. See the osprey that found a fine nesting tree with spacious vistas in a solitary rugged pine on a patch of dry land in the middle of a bog.
