Sports and Leisure
The city of Pori maintains over 200 sports facilities. In addition there are plenty of sports opportunities organized by the private sector.

Sports Halls
Karhuhalli
Karhuhalli is a combined football- and multipurpose hall. The hall has an artificial lawn football field of 100m x 64m. In addition the field has two 400 meter tracks. Sport happenings, major public events, fairs, meetings and conferences can be held at Karhuhalli.

Sports Hall
Sports hall of Pori is a multipurpose hall where you can play basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis and table tennis, floorball, squash, futsal and practice judo, karate, wrestling, power- and weightlifting, rhythmical sports, running, boxing, gymnastics, long, high and triple jumping, pole-vaulting, throw discuses and shots and use the gym.

Youth Center
Downtown’s youth center has two sport halls and several other rooms you can occupy.

Public Swimming Pools
Centre Public Swimming Pool
The Centre public swimming pool has been described to feel like a spa. It has several pools from a regular swimming pool of eight tracks to a hot tub, cold water pool, diving pool and pools for younger audience. The swimming pool also offers a gym. Please notice that men’s long sleeve swimming shorts are not allowed in the pool.

Meri-Pori Public Swimming Pool
Meri-Pori public swimming pool has three pools. The biggest pool has six 25m long tracks. There’s also a smaller teaching pool and a wading pool for little kids. Please notice that men’s long sleeve swimming shorts are not allowed in the pool.

Open Air Public Swimming Pool
Open air public swimming pool gives you an opportunity to enjoy outdoors and sunshine. The area offers you an eight track swimming pool and two pools suitable for small children. Please notice that men’s long sleeve swimming shorts are not allowed in the pool.
