Pori Municipal Service Enterprise

Pori Municipal Service Enterprise produces meals-on-wheels, cleaning and property management services for the City Group. Pori Municipal Service Enterprise is managed by Marjukka Palin.


The responsibilities of Porin Vesi is to procure raw water, produce and distribute household water and to drain and clean waste water in its operating area in the City of Pori. Household water is also supplied to Eurajoki. Porin Vesi also handles the cleaning of the waste water of Ulvila, Nakkila, Harjavalta and partly Eura and Eurajoki. Porin Vesi is managed by the Director Ilkka Mikkola.


Satakunta Rescue Department is responsible for rescue operations, accident prevention and preparing for emergencies in Satakunta province.

In Satakunta Rescue Department, there are 35 persons in continuous 24-hour standby across the region, in seven fire stations. The 24-hour manned fire stations are in Kanta-Pori, Rauma, Meri-Pori, Kankaanpää, Huittinen, Harjavalta and Ulvila.  

In addition to the manned fire stations, the rescue work is carried out by contract fire brigades. Satakunta Rescue Department also has a cooperation agreement with the both military fire departments (Huovinrinne and Niinisalo) of Pori Brigade, Pyhäjärvi Lake Rescue Association and the significant industrial plants in the area.

Satakunta Rescue Department is managed by Pekka Tähtinen, CEO of rescue services.
