SuomiAreena is the largest societal discussion festival in Finland, and it takes place in Pori every year. The purpose of the festival is to invite and allow everyone to get their voices heard by participating in discussions of social, economic and political issues. The 4-day festival takes place 24th to 27th June all around Pori.

Seven stages around the city centre, for example in Raatihuoneenpuisto park, Eteläranta and Puuvilla shopping centre, hold hundreds of different discussions revolving around themes such as internationality, growth, economics, clean energy and safety. Here are suggestions for those interested in the English programme.
